About Four Seasons Garden Rooms
Four Seasons Garden Rooms is a trading name of Mascott Developments Ltd., a family business run by two brothers located close to Bournemouth and Poole in Dorset.
With a lifetime in the building trade, the brothers and their team of dedicated craftsmen have been building high-quality homes of all sizes for decades.
After being approached several times via recommendation to build bespoke garden buildings, we realised that there was an opportunity to provide a dedicated service that allowed for almost any request, and Four Seasons Garden Rooms was born.

With decades in the building trade, we’ve seen plenty of poor workmanship. We noticed that our customers were being offered garden rooms that are more about profit for the company building them than providing what the customer deserves. We know we can do a better job, often at a cheaper cost to the customer.
A Better Build
Four Seasons Garden Rooms take a different approach to building our garden rooms. Where most companies rely on pre-fabricated SIP panels, we take a more traditional approach, building from the ground up on-site. This allows us to be supremely flexible, and because of our skills, in reality, it’s as quick as using panels.
We can also control quality more effectively because we construct and insulate the building ourselves using the best available materials without having to worry about the quality of a third party’s construction method.
Flexibility Without Sacrificing Quality
Each of our builds is unique. Some clients want a different shaped footprint to allow for more effective use of their available space. Others have interior requirements that are out of the ordinary, like kitchens, bathrooms or specific layouts or power requirements to accommodate their work or hobby.
Most garden rooms you see advertised are boxes, and deviating from that plan often causes unwelcome build and cost issues. We, on the other hand, treat each project as a “one-off”, and because our method of building is so flexible, it’s very cost-effective.
Any Size – Any Shape – Choice of Finish
Four Seasons Garden Rooms start from around £12,000, including a fully insulated construction with double glazing, underfloor heating, electric lighting, and sockets.
The exterior is clad in our recommended low-maintenance, attractive fibreboard, and the roof is covered with a layer of long guarantee rubber matting. The building has proper solid concrete footings and an insulated, damp proof concrete floor.
All this allows us to provide garden rooms with specific U values, the same as we would for any home we build.
If you prefer timber cladding or a mix of timber and fibreboard, this is an option, as is the style of roof and the addition of a veranda or decking.
